Snøhetta has extended the Volum collection with four new floor variants – Lodes

Snøhetta extends Volum series for Lodes

As a continuation of the successful collaboration with Italian Lighting manufacturer Lodes, Snøhetta has extended the Volum collection with four new floor variants. With its third edition, the Volum collection has become more versatile and able to adapt and fit into every context and space.

The new floor variants utilize the same recognizable glass shapes used in the other variants, inspired by the process and traditional handcraft of glass blowing. The two largest glass forms are combined with two different heights of the frame, resulting in a total of four different variants. Together, the variants provide a varied range of options for different situations or dynamic combinations.

360 Degrees
As introduced with the launch of the pendant variants, the concept of Volum is to provide a 360-degree glow to create the expression of an uninterrupted shape and fill the space with even light. Identically, the translucent lid has been implemented in the floor lamps, maintaining consistency throughout the collection.

“Our collaboration with Lodes has been about developing flexibility and approachability from the beginning. From the inception of the concept of Volum, the aim has been to create a product that can add value to any situation and space with a design that brings more value than the sum of its parts,” says Marius Myking, Director of Product Design at Snøhetta.
