Poul Kjærholm was a Danish furniture designer known for his elegant and timeless designs. He was born in 1929 and died in 1980. Kjærholm was educated at the School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen and subsequently worked at Fritz Hansen and later with Ejvind Kold Christensen, which led to many of his most famous works.
