Sammen (Danish for “Together”) is Thomas E. Alken’s refined garden furniture series for FDB Møbler, launched in 2014 and continuously developed since. The collection comprises a complete range of tables, chairs, benches, lounge furniture and sun loungers, all united by a cohesive design philosophy.
Alken follows FDB Møbler’s tradition of democratic design where furniture should have broad popular appeal. His philosophy is built on the principle that furniture should be simple, light and beautiful – principles that the Sammen collection exemplifies perfectly. The entire collection is crafted in natural oil-treated, FSC-certified teak wood with a natural oil finish.
