FURNITURE FAIR 9-13.2.2005

DURAT ® at Stockholm Furniture Fair 2005
After a break of a couple of years DURAT ® will again exhibit at Stockholm Furniture Fair 2005. This year you can visit DURAT ® at stand C22:31. Design models to be shown include, among others, the SOIKKO bath, the VATI wash basin, and the TORNI wash basin, which received considerable attention at the 100% Design fair in London.

VATI wash basin
The shape of the VATI basin refers to a shell. The basin is a stand alone item to be placed on a Durat top or cabinet. Design by Ulla Koskinen for DURAT® design, 2004.

SOIKKO bath
The SOIKKO bath was presented for the first time at the 100 % Design fair in London in 2002. As a response to the great demand a new SOIKKO model has now been released, a
shallower model called MINI SOIKKO. These freestanding bath tubs are certain eye-catchers in the bathroom.

TORNI wash basin
Torni is a new washbasin pod made by DURAT® in cooperation with Arup Associates. The cylindrical basin, designed by Mick Brundle, is a startling departure from traditional commercial vanity basin design. The basin increases the perception of space within the washroom and allows people to pass each other within a confined space
