The forecast for the 2007 David design collection is excellent; fair conditions, high pressure and only scattered clouds on an otherwise clear sky. Expect the sun to shine its light on all the new products, fresh air and clean outdoors are a source of inspiration and a natural part of our Scandinavian heritage that has influence our new collection.
In the collection – now more than ever – design goes hand in hand with fashion. We want to enrich your everyday life, weather it’s at home, at work or at play and make it a more attractive place to be in.
These are our new products:
Cumulus
For a great indoor climate check out this new piece from Johanna Egnell and Helena Allard; a decorative wall ornament/notice board. With its soft organic shape and clever arrangement possibilities it will give the room a funky “David design feel” and moreover, work as a noise absorbing device. Perfect for the public space where a lot of people want to get their voices heard. Also; don’t forget that it’s a perfect place to post that note about the upcoming office party or maybe just a picture of your loved one.
La Chapelle Big
The temperature will certainly rise several degrees at any dinner party with this new table from Inga Sempé. La Chapelle Big is a natural centrepiece and an iconic approach to the Grand supper table.
Brent Stackable
Staying cool in the heat as always; Björn Dahlström is following up his awards winning Brent lounge chair with a stackable version.
Toad Twin
Toad, originating from 1968 by Ekstrand & Norman, and then re-launched in 2002 by David design has now been modified by Ruud Ekstrand into a charming love seat. Expect thunder and lightning when you chill in it with someone special.
Coffee Bean Sofa Table
Coffee Bean, the long time classic David design side table, has evolved into a delicate sofa table by the gentle touch of designer Tim Power. Perfect for a cup on the sunny side of the street.
