Walk the Plank, Two stools
The Rockable and The Unrockable, 1999
Designer: Hans Sandgren Jakobsen
Cabinet maker: Andreī Skriver
Two stools that visually borrow from the midwifeīs trumpet and the stamen of a flower. Created with the behind in mind, so to speak, but also for the visual impact! Taking a break from all that is serious and commercial.
The Rockable
37 staves driven into a circuler foot, each equipped with a turned knob, create a convex seat at a height of 43 cm, a stool that slightly rocks.
The Unrockable
35 staver driven into a regtangular foot, each equipped with a turned knob, create a concave seat at a height of 43 cm, a stool that is unrockable.
