Dream Catcher, the captivating lighting collaboration between Swedish lighting brand Pholc and Milan-based design studio Studiopepe, made its successful debut at Milan Design Week. Presented within the curated ‘Aria’ exhibition at Archiproducts, this sculptural lighting collection balanced between functional illumination and artistic expression.
The collection featured two distinct models: Dream Catcher Arc, designed for spacious environments with one small and two large boomerang elements, and Dream Catcher Bow, a more compact interpretation with one large and two small boomerangs, ideal for intimate spaces.
Each piece functions as a moveable sculpture where light passes through soft glass and reflects from mirrored surfaces. The design incorporates boomerang-shaped elements that carry light, a reflective cylindrical component, and semi-transparent glass pendants, creating a dynamic interplay between illumination, form, and movement.
Described by its creators as “a lucky charm to a room,” Dream Catcher gives spaces a graphic twist while offering unique perspectives from every angle. The collection draws inspiration from ancient archetypes while expressing contemporary design sensibilities, blending earth-inspired elements into a futuristic composition.
The Dream Catcher collection was showcased at Archiproducts, Via Tortona 31, Milan, alongside Pholc’s Apollo lighting design by Broberg & Ridderstråle, which was also featured in the exhibition.
