Wallpaper Aurora
With their pink, blue and violet tones, reminiscent of a shimmering morning light, the flowers unite in the Aurora wallpaper, designed by Josef Frank in 1947. Aurora is the Latin word for dawn and according to Roman mythology, Aurora is the goddess of dawn, sister of the sun god Sol and the moon goddess Luna. According to legend it was Aurora who opened the eastern gates every morning with her rosy fingers to let the sun’s chariot come forth for the day.
