An instant classic, the JWDA Lamp is the kind of sculptural piece that turns heads and brings new life to a room. The contrast of the delicate, rounded glass with the sturdy metal base makes for a balanced and intriguing silhouette.
Originally inspired by oil lamps of the past, the JWDA table lamp’s form has been simplified into an organic shape that beautifully blends contrasting elements, whereby the raw and delicate harmoniously meet in one.
The timeless JWDA Table Lamp Large was introduced in 2018 with a marble base in white Carrara delivering ambient light from its elliptical, opal glass shade. Followed in 2022 by a version made of Calacatta Viola marble featuring striking purple veining unique to each piece. For 2025 the collection is expanded further with a base crafted of beautiful red Verona travertine with natural inclusions making each lamp one of a kind.

Reworking the dimensions of the JWDA Table Lamp to create a pared-back light with a bold personality, the Floor Lamp is added to the series in 2018. The simple, standalone design merges contrasting elements to elegant effect: set on a stem of powder-coated steel or solid brass, the shade is formed from opal glass into an elliptical shape, while the base retains its characteristic form, crafted from marble with gently rounded edges and punctuated with a decorative dimmer switch in brushed or bronzed brass.
Part of a series of lighting inspired by traditional oil lamps, the JWDA Floor Lamp takes the expression of the series’ table lamp to elegant new heights. Pared-back to its purest form, the lamp is a study in the contrasts of natural materials: set on a substantial marble base, rounded at the edges for a soft expression, the elegant tubular metal stem – available in powder-coated steel or solid brass – holds an elliptical opal glass shade that emits a soft, ambient light. A brass dimmer switch lets you control the brightness of the bulb – for reading or relaxing, or simply to create ambience in a room. Conveying a sense of familiarity and warmth, the JWDA Floor Lamp illuminates any setting with bold elegance.
With the introduction of red Verona travertine for 2025, the JWDA Floor Lamp takes on a bold character. The warm, richly toned stone, with subtle variations that make each piece unique, creates a grounding base that transforms the lamp into an artful statement piece.
