Salone del Mobile/ Fuorisalone 17-22 April 2018
Fuorisalone is the set of events distributed in different areas of Milan on the same days when the Salone Internazionale del Mobile takes place. Every year, in April, Salone and Fuorisalone define the Milan Design Week, the most important event in the world for design.

The spilt coffee has not yet dried, the bed is still warm. Someone just left the room and you are invited to experience scenes from everyday life.
The Swedish Design Moves project will bring to Milan, in a unique location in the heart of Brera Design District, a selection of Swedish companies and designers who look at the future while trying to improve the lifestyles of the individual and of the community by a functional and aesthetic approach to space and furnishings.
The architect of the installation is Joyn Studio (founded by Lisa Grape, Helena Eliason and Ida Wanler), a small interior architecture studio with one great ambition: to put people in the right mood.
Thanks to the initiative set up by the Swedish government in 2017 called Swedish Design Moves, Sweden has been steadily moving towards the global diffusion of its lifestyle and vision of spaces relating to sociality.

This artsy neighbourhood with its narrow, cobbled streets boasts a dense concentration of antique shops, galleries, showrooms and prestigious locations. During the Fuorisalone, Brera offers a high-profile events calendar, featuring several of the world’s most prestigious brands, and focuses on attracting a design savvy, culturally oriented public.
