Gunnel Sahlin born in 1954.
Vital glass designers, whose work is characterized by fresh and sensual color, generous-hearted form. Sahlin was originally textile designer, worked with Katja of Sweden in New York when she and her generation of fellow Ann Wåhlström 1986 was linked to Kosta Boda. Together they contributed to the renewal of Swedish glass tradition, inspired by the American studio glass.
