Solo Collection by Pierre Sindre for Bebo Objects

Pierre Sindre has designed the Solo seating collection for Bebo Objects

— a lightweight easy chair and 3-seater sofa that share the same characteristic form and construction logic.

Solo is built from olefin string wound around a powder-coated aluminium frame.

The material combination makes the chair light in both weight and visual presence, while olefin’s durability means it holds up equally well indoors and outside. The result is a piece that moves freely between domestic interiors, covered terraces, and outdoor environments without requiring separate product ranges for each context.

The design reflects Pierre Sindre’s consistent interest in structure as expression. The string winding is not decorative applied to a hidden frame — it is the surface, the texture, and the shape simultaneously. Sindre has used a similar approach in other seating for Bebo Objects, including the Lyre lounge chair, establishing a coherent material language across the brand’s catalogue.

Bebo Objects is a Swedish design company focused on seating and objects where material and form are treated with equal weight. The collaboration with Sindre — one of Sweden’s more consistently active furniture designers, and recipient of the 2022 Bruno Mathsson Prize — fits the brand’s positioning at the intersection of craft logic and contemporary design.

Solo is available as a single easy chair or as a 3-seater, offering flexibility for both residential and hospitality contexts where lightweight, weather-tolerant seating is needed.
