Dinesen Plank table Timber has been developed in collaboration with the traditional furniture company Getama

Raw plank table in douglas planks from Dinesen Plank table Timber has been developed in collaboration with the traditional furniture company Getama, which among other things produces many of Hans J Wegner’s furniture.

The table consists of 2 planks of Douglas fir, which is supplied by Dinesen, and the idea arose when FRIIS & MOLTKE themselves needed a solid table that could stand in the lunch room.

The task of drawing the table is handled by Mikkel Bahr, industrial designer and responsible for FRIIS & MOLTKE’s design department. One can recognize the architectural firm’s unsentimental approach to carpentry, production and architecture as in the brutalism that FRIIS & MOLTKE stood for in the 60s and 70s.

The first tables were delivered to decorate the museum shop at Skagen Museum.
