Countdown to Stockholm Design Week Pop-Up Edition

Stockholm Design Week returns on September 5–9 for five days of events, exhibitions, talks, workshops and open studios. The design week in September is a pop-up edition with the aim to gather and strengthen the design scene in Stockholm.

After a successful fall edition last year, Stockholm Design Week returns with a pop-up edition this September. The week offers a platform to network, launch news, find inspiration and discuss ideas together. Participants include brands such as Bolon, Montana, Occhio, Kinnarps, Fogia, Layered, Swedese and Svenskt Tenn showcasing news in their showrooms. Lighting brand Belid presents a new collaboration with design duo Färg & Blanche, and designer Nick Ross shows an exhibition in one of the impressive halls at the The Swedish History Museum. The architect Andreas Martin-Löf is launching a new lighting brand, and design studio Gustaf Westman is hosting several events in their new studio during the week. Audi, another brand engaged in Stockholm Design Week, will host several inspiring talks and events in their showroom. The week ends with a bloc party on Saturday, taking place in various venues, studios, bars and restaurants across Erstagatan in Södermalm, Stockholm.

During the five days gathering, Stockholm Design Week will take the opportunity to present new initiatives for the upcoming Stockholm Furniture Fair in February, as well as The Guest of Honour 2024.

The first Stockholm Design Week was held in February 2002, and since then the organizer Stockholm Furniture Fair has tied together the different design activities taking place in Stockholm. Visitors can use the Stockholm Design Week app to easily navigate between all events during the week.
