“As new paradigms in lighting technology open up new avenues of application, this trio of elemental, archetypal conical forms, first embodied in the now iconic w151 Extra Large Pendants and then the w201 Extra Small Pendants, broaden their reach with the launch of w221 Medium Pendants,” remarks Mårten Claesson, co-founder of Claesson Koivisto Rune Architects.

“The w221 Medium Pendants are of a size and scale tailored to situations where the sibling series are either too small or simply too large,” adds Ola Rune, co-founder of Claesson Koivisto Rune Architects.

Suspended above a dining table or conference table, for example, the well balanced presence of the w122 Medium Pendant is realised with the same exceptional precision and minimisation of details seen in the w151 and w201 series.

Made from spun aluminium, the w221 Medium Pendant lights are each equipped with high-quality SMD LED solution used to create an even spread of dimmable, warm white light (2700 K).
