Cell is the dream of a bookshelf. A simple architectural
expression that both fits in and stands out at the same time.
At once low-key and spectacular. As graphically elegant empty,
as when filled with books.
All the bulky stuff that used to fill our book cases televisions,
huge stereo components, vinyl records are on their way
out. Left are the books, digital media and constantly shrinking
electronic devices.
Cell accommodates all common book sizes. The placement of deeper
shelves up top, with shallower shelves further down, makes Cell
slender and space efficient. The form and construction makes the
shelf appear to float transparently in the room.
