The big event of the summer @ Blå Hallen in Höganäs – Filled with Design

The Great Art and Antique Fest at Blå Hallen in Höganäs was an immediate success last weekend. The theme for the upcoming weekend of July 15-17 is Interiors and Design. Long queues again?

Blå Hallen (Blue Hall) is a 5,000 square meter industrial facility from the early 1900´s in Höganäs, a small city in the south of Sweden famous for its ceramic production.
The acclaimed antique dealer, visionary and local Martin Enget saved the impressive brick and concrete building from being demolished a few years ago, and has turned it into a haven for art exhibitions, antique fairs and creative events and adventures. The grand scale and raw, unpolished appearance of the interior creates a quite unique atmosphere.

The big event of the summer is called Blå Sommar (Blue Summer), consisting of five differently themed weekends with stage talks and 30-40 handpicked vendors each weekend presenting antiques, art, vintage and contemporary design, ceramics, fashion, curiousities, jewellery and more. Last weekend TV personality and auction house CEO Li Pamp held conversations on stage with Paul Jackson, on of the world´s foremost antique dealers, and legendary preservationist Lars Sjöberg among others.
This weekend Editor in Chief of The New Era Magazine Hanna Nova Beatrice will talk to designers Mats Theselius, Jenny Nordberg, Lucas Morten and Massproductions.
