Exhibition curated by Summit at the Design Museum, Helsinki.
With the ambition to define and showcase a national trait in Finnish design that was instrumental in pushing the Nordic country to the forefront of design innovation, the exhibition also suggests a possible way forward for a nation whose proud design scene seems to have stagnated. The exhibition, which is curated by Summit, presents selected works by notable Finnish and Scandinavian designers Aino and Alvar Aalto, Lisa Johansson-Pape, Ilkka Suppanen, Jorma Vennola, GamFratesi, Monica Förster and Mikko Halonen.
