Introducing Arne Jacobsen’s
signature stacking chair – Ant™ –
for the first time in print.
Arne Jacobsen’s chair design is named for the outline of an ant with its head raised. Despite its slender shape, Ant™ is strong and famously comfortable.
Ant™ Deco Silhouette is the first printed version of the chair ever released and features a print from Danish artist Krista Rosenkilde. The silhouette pattern draws inspiration from the chair’s shape. The original print was carved on linoleum and printed by hand, then scanned and digitally printed on the chair’s curved surface.
PRINT DESIGNER
Krista Rosenkilde (b. 1983) is the artist behind Mon Atelier. In her studio she creates interior textiles, ceramic, prints and art objects.
