Claesson Koivisto Rune invite you to enjoy Caramel – a new functional and sculptural side table from Offecct. Caramel can be both  a temporary workstation in a meeting place and a striking object that pleases both the public and the private spheres.

– Caramel is a functional side table with a sculptural shape. Side tables in an office environment tend to have a typical expression of office furniture. We wanted to break away from that tendency and design a table that could function very well in an office environment as well as in a very sensitive domestic space, explains Mårten Claesson.

– The metal sheets that form Caramel, is an exercise in geometry and perception. We have played with one shape, set in different angles that together create a very playful body. The structure invokes curiosity both when using it up close as well as seeing it from afar, describes Eero Koivisto.
