100% Design – A New Start for London’s Biggest and Most Prestigious Design Event in the UK

100% Design 2012, the UK’s leading and most visited contemporary design
event is in its 18th year and is set to be the most successful ever staged.
Last years event attracted over 18,000 visitors and this year with former Deputy Director of LDF, William Knight at the helm, and the broad spectrum of new talent, fresh ideas and innovative design, 100% Design 2012 is set to remain the essential event to visit for the industry diary.
100% Design is Britain’s most influential contemporary interiors show and as it stands it is the UK’s largest gathering of architects and interior designers. This year, 100% Design has attracted an even bigger range of UK and international brands. Furthermore, dedicated group
stands from countries ranging from France Korea, Chile ,Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria are being showcased, further establishing the diversity of 100% Design and additional exhibiting countries include Italy, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, and Holland.
Sunday during 100% Design was well‐known as consumer day and since the launch of LDF the offer for visitors around London has grown. It is due to this development that the consumer day will now be combined and be held on Saturday.
New Layout with Four New Shows
100% Design will revolve around a central bar, making it an ideal location for business networking. There will be four new areas; Interiors, Office, Kitchen & Bathrooms, Eco Design & Build. A tunnel entrance, auditorium seating 200 and dedicated area for international pavilions ‐ ensuring ease of navigation and allowing more time for business during a hectic London Design Festival and enhancing the experience for both exhibitor and visitor.
100% Interiors will deliver the latest in design products and thinking by some of the worlds leading companies. Already lined up are some of
the biggest names in design including; Moroso, Knoll, Eskimo Design, Jennifer Newman, Dare Studio, Original BTC, Deadgood and Boca do Lobo.
100% Kitchen & Bathrooms promises to showcase the very latest products, materials and trends. Leadings brands will present iconic products and concepts and focus on the future trends of the bathroom and kitchen. Tisettanta, Antonio Luigi, Apavisa, DOCA, Robert Timmons, and Interior iD are just a few of the brands exhibiting.
100% Office will be the first show dedicated to office and workspace design staged as part of the London Design Festival. A platform for specialists in office ergonomics and workplace interiors such as Herman Miller, Kinnarps, Lammhults, and Johanson Design, 100% Office will get under the skin of the very latest developments in work and contract design.
100% Eco Design & Build will cover the rich territory of design, installation, build and technology and is a unique proposition as part of the revised 100% Design. Showcasing the leading products and concepts, the 100% Eco Design & Build will address the issues affecting residential, commercial build and redevelopment projects including developments in energy saving technology, materials and build methods. Key exhibitors lined up for 2012 include Armourcoat, Prantil Camillo, Newmat UK Ltd, Silvan, Amina Technologies, CANAL Engineering, and Construction Specialities.
100% Future Living showcasing leading design, technology and innovation
100% Future Living will be the theme connecting each of the four new show sections; Interiors, Office, Kitchens & Bathrooms and Eco Design & Build.
The concept will add significant exposure for exhibitors, and drive content for each of the new dedicated industry hubs and provide an opportunity to demonstrate and engage with the best technology, innovation and design, shaping the homes and work places of tomorrow.
Future Living will celebrate advances in design through each hub including multifunctional furniture, integrated lighting and sound systems, sustainable buildings, free‐standing work rooms, mobile hubs, communication systems and much more…
New Design Arcade
The New Design Arcade will be showcasing the best in emerging design talent and providing a hands‐up to the next generation from the UK
and overseas. New discoveries include Kirath Ghudoo, Plant & Moss, Vita, and Arthur Analts.
Live Global Debates featuring Designs Biggest Names
100% Design will host a series of live global debates, with live broadcasts from some of the most influential design studios in the world.
The dedicated auditorium, seating 200, will provide industry professionals with a unique opportunity to discuss and debate with their creative heroes.
Founder of Dezeen, Marcus Fairs, is poised to curate a series of spontaneous and informal seminars focusing on design and chatting to a selection of hand‐picked exhibitors and contributors to 100% Design.
