INAUGURATION OF VALENCIA MUSEUM OF ILLUSTRATION

The Museum of Illustration in Valencia, designed by architect Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra has finally opened its doors, two years behind schedule. The delay is justified by the fact that new features have been added over the years and new rooms and halls have been designed for contents that were unforeseen at the beginning of the project. The result is a sober building, which is a constant play on light, shadow and sound. Besides the permanent collection, the museum is currently showing an exhibition from the Vitra Design Museum of the one hundred years of the 20th Century seen through 100 chairs
