TCL Design Competition Came To A Close

On April 15, 2001, the 1st TCL Design Competition -- 'Getting To Touch The Future' came to a close in Guangdong. By carefully voting, the Gold, Silver and Copper Prizes of 6 works were chosen out of 26 selections.

Yan Qifeng, a student of Hunan University won the Gold Prize with his 'Toy Bricks, Socket and Module', which integrates the practical function with the artistic taste. The designer was motivated by the limitation and unconvenience of present sockets, thus he invented the toy-bricks-like socket. The users could infinitely lengthen the socket as needed.
