The Leaflet

1:6 DESIGN is a Danish company producing detailed models of Danish furniture in scale 1:6. Hans Sandgren Jakobsen’s awarded museum stool »Gallery« has been chosen as the third scale model. The miniature model consists of four layers of knife cut maple or walnut veneer and two layers of cloth. It is handmade and shaped like the original. The model is produced by courtesy of Fredericia Furniture and Hans Sandgren Jakobsen.

Hans Sandgren Jakobsen (1963) has in a few years won wide recognition in the international market of quality furniture. The young furniture designer challenges the materials and creates aesthetical, innovative furniture with profound respect to classical functionalism. Recognized furniture producers in Denmark, the USA, Japan and China produce his furniture which is sold all over the world.
