CHURCHILL
Design: Johannes Foersom & Peter Hiort-Lorenzen

Churchill has been designed in two versions, one with linking device, aimed for churches, conference centers and libraries and the other as a single chair to be combined tables.

The chair is built up by solid wooden profiles and bent sheets of beech- or birchveneer, which have been glued exactly edge to edge to bring out the totality of the chair as a sharp and a proper cut out figure. The square punched pattern into the seat and the back make the chair look light and transparent together with the surrounding architecture. The contrast between the thin and light springy veneer membranes and the bearing wooden profiles make the chair resilient and strong.

Churchill is a chair of wood at 100 %, of beech or birch. The chair is made stack-able and linkable, with or without arms.

For the Churchill chair tables aimed for reading- and conferencerooms has been designed. The tables are made of beech or birch.
